Job description

Field Service Assembler/Technician

Salary: GBP17 Per Hour

Location: Rugby Warwickshire Based also Field Service UK and some European Travel

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours minimum)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team, focusing on the creation and installation of subframes for rolling stock systems. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, technical expertise, and a strong background in assembly and wiring.

Key Responsibilities:

Car driver and driving Licence essential

• Assemble and build subframes to a high standard of accuracy and durability.

• Fit wiring looms and cameras to the subframes for monitoring rolling stock systems.

• Install and secure subframes onto rolling stock (conveyors).

• Test and troubleshoot wiring and camera systems to ensure proper functionality.

• Collaborate with the team to maintain high safety and quality standards during all assembly and installation tasks.

• Maintain accurate records of completed work and report on progress to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant driving experience is essential.

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, or a similar role.

• Strong technical understanding of wiring systems and camera installations.

• Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings or schematics.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Full UK driving license.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
