SEND Upper School & Maths Lead (Teacher)

Type: Permanent | Hours: Full-Time | Location: Bridgwater | Start: 01/09/2025 | Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP44,870

Elementa is recruiting for an SEND Upper School & Maths Lead (Teacher) at this special school for children with SEND, mainly related to ASC and SEMH. The school supports students across primary and secondary phases using a therapeutic approach. All students have EHCPs related to SEMH, ASC, and anxiety. The school emphasizes a holistic and creative education to help learners reach their full potential.

The school has been renovated recently and offers a stimulating environment with onsite farm and coffee shop. It caters to learners aged 5-18 across two sites.

The successful candidate will safeguard students, support their educational and therapeutic needs, contribute to curriculum and school development, collaborate with staff, and prepare bespoke resources. They will plan, deliver, and lead the Maths curriculum, potentially involving cross-curricular activities with PSHE, Horticulture, Home Cooking, Animal Skills, and PE.

Essential criteria:

  • Maths specialist or extensive Maths teaching experience
