Purpose of the Role

As part of PPP-IML’s Engineering Support Team (EST), you will deliver high-quality electrical maintenance across various contracts to enhance customer experience and company reputation.

Additional role details include:

• Promoting safety culture and adhering to health, safety, and environmental procedures
• Ensuring maintenance quality aligns with qualifications, client SLAs, and standards like ISO9001
• Developing core competencies and sharing best practices
• Completing inspections, maintenance, and repairs timely with accurate reporting
• Producing reports, liaising with Contract Managers, and seeking improvements
• Managing administrative tasks like work schedules and tickets
• Working flexibly across sites, attending meetings, training, and networking events
• Driving continuous improvement to minimize downtime and costs
• Travel across UK sites and working additional shifts/overtime as needed
• Following reasonable instructions from your Line Manager

Who you are:

Essential:

• Proven electrical experience in facilities management
• HNC or BTEC in electrical engineering, IEE 18th Edition
• Qualified to current electrical regulations
• Electrical inspection and testing certification (2395)
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and PPM/CAFM systems
• Valid driving license

Desirable:

• Previous AP position in electrical systems of work
• Experience with PAT Testing, project management, and budget management
• Experience in PFI environments
• Health and safety qualifications like IOSH Managing Safely
