Job Opportunity: HSEQ Assistant Co-ordinator at Dales Marine Services

Dales Marine Services is a well-established provider of ship repair, fabrication, and engineering services for the offshore oil industry, serving both local and national clients.

Due to ongoing growth and long-term contracts, we are seeking to expand our skilled team.

Role Overview

The HSEQ Assistant Co-ordinator supports the HSEQ team by managing administrative and compliance tasks across all sites. Reporting directly to the site HSEQ Advisor and QA Coordinator, the role involves office administration, workshop and quayside activities, and assisting in the implementation of quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with contractor inductions and daily PTW checks.
  • Support identification of simultaneous operations and file completed PTWs.
  • Issue HAV watches, set up machinery packs with risk assessments, and assist with safety inspections.
  • Contribute to online training, safety audits, and maintenance checks (fire extinguishers, first aid, fire alarms, machinery, emergency lighting, T-cards).
  • Help prepare audit paperwork and promote a safe working culture, including 'stop the job' policies.
  • Support environmental and ISO standards compliance, aiming for zero accidents and waste to landfill.
  • Perform additional tasks as required by the HSEQ Advisor and QA Coordinator.
