Job Title: Engineering Lecturer

Location: Leicester

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £25-£40 per hour

Full-time, 37 hours per week (some remote work available)

These colleges have a proven track record of students progressing to further education or employment, and they need your support to enhance their Motor Vehicle, Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering departments.

We are seeking individuals with a vision for delivering high-quality apprenticeship programs and engineering courses, as well as assessing future engineers.

Responsibilities

• Teaching engineering at various levels, typically Level 1-3
• Imparting knowledge, skills, and experience to engineering apprentices and students

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant Engineering Qualifications (Degree, Level 3 or equivalent)
• DBS check (and on update service)
• Industry experience and knowledge (crucial)
• CAVA Level 3 Assessor Qualification
• Knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and E-portfolio systems (e.g., Smart Assessor) is beneficial
• Willingness to work towards an Assessor and Verification award (e.g., TAQA, A1, or V1)
• Minimum Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English or equivalent
