Experience in healthcare, understanding of learning disabilities, epilepsy, and challenging behaviours, as well as a compassionate approach to care are all desired. Use own initiative whilst lone working in the community and the family's home.

The ideal Complex Care Worker will be female and have experience in PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, suctioning/cough assist.

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Hours: Bank/Relief – flexibility required

Hours: Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm / weekends occasionally (flexibility required)

Holidays: 33 days per year (pro rata)

CJP Outreach services is looking to recruit additional Complex Care Workers for our Complex Care Team who will support individuals with complex medical health needs. We seek engaging, compassionate, and reliable support workers to join our friendly team.

To maintain our high standards and meet the outcomes of those we support, we require skilled professionals who:

  • See the person, not just their needs, and adapt approaches to ensure positive outcomes while maintaining respect and dignity in care.
  • Have experience working with vulnerable people in the community to maintain or improve their independent living skills.
  • Are committed to making a positive difference and enabling others to live their best life.
  • Demonstrate qualities aligned with our values-driven services: resilient, warm, motivated, approachable, with a strong value base.
  • Support people with learning disabilities, epilepsy, challenging behaviour, and other conditions.
  • Perform duties including personalized care, epilepsy management, addressing challenging behaviours with empathy, assisting with mobility challenges, adapting communication for visual impairment, and fostering emotional well-being.
  • Work closely with individuals and their support networks to tailor care to their specific needs.

Our refer a friend scheme is worth £500 in total, split as follows: £250 after the new hire has worked 100 hours, and another £250 after passing a 6-month probation period.
