Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager, Days, Kettering, Salary: £60,000 per annum

A Maintenance Manager with strong people management experience is required to lead and mentor a team of Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers in Corby.

The Maintenance Manager will report to the Factory Engineering Manager and should have extensive manufacturing experience, ideally within the FMCG sector. The role involves overseeing PPM schedules and having practical knowledge of Shire Pirana CMM system or similar. The Maintenance Manager will be part of the management team, focused on improving the performance of the equipment on site with asset care.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and possess the following qualities:

1. Strong proven track record in a similar role within the FMCG (ideally food) manufacturing sector
2. Applied knowledge of mechanical systems and PLC / CLX, SCADA, HMI, Robots, and people management
3. Planning and process control
4. H&S, Quality, and Food Safety awareness
5. Ability to manage staff according to policies and procedures
6. Project Management and Continuous Improvement
7. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues promptly
