We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the Pharmacy Patient Services Team as a Senior Assistant Technical Officer for the Dispensary.
We provide an exciting and sociable working environment and are seeking a forward-thinking, enthusiastic, and highly motivated person to join our esteemed team. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and be able to work effectively with the existing team at ward level and within the Pharmacy Department. Proven organisational and team leadership skills are essential.
Experience of working and supervising in a pharmacy environment is necessary, along with an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmaceutical Services (or equivalent).
The successful applicant will work predominantly within the Pharmacy Dispensary and will lead one of our four key areas within Patient Services: Pharmacy Hubs, Dispensary, CD Room and Clinics, or supporting the Pharmacy Dispensary.
Working as part of the pharmacy team, distribution involves supplying medicines as stock to wards and departments, issuing patient-specific medications, working within a multidisciplinary team, including stock management and pharmaceutical product issuance.
You will work during weekdays, weekends, and Bank Holidays on a rota basis, including 1 in 4 weekends and a rota for Bank Holiday work.
