Spinwell is recruiting for an Environmental Advisor for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

Responsibilities of the Environmental Advisor

• Act as a key stakeholder in environmental processes, including DMRs, HAZOPs, UNOR investigations, to implement management systems, standards, and procedures.
• Provide specialist environmental support and interface with SEPA on behalf of facilities and project teams.
• Offer environmental advice to facilities and project teams.
• Deliver site and plant-specific environmental process and awareness training.
• Implement improvements in the Environmental Management System.
• Produce environmental documentation aligned with legislative and project requirements, such as aspects assessments, BPM assessments, and support files.
• Participate in sharing environmental knowledge and supporting other site environmental specialists.
• Deliver specific tasks from the plan.
• Review the effectiveness of environmental arrangements and resources.
• Undertake internal checks for environmental compliance.
• Provide technical secretarial support to relevant environmental committees.
• Perform responsibilities related to authorizations relevant to the role.

Skills and Experience of the Environmental Advisor

• HND in Environmental Studies or an equivalent qualification, plus relevant experience.
