Location: Cambridgeshire


Our Client is a fast growing, value driven CRO in the biotechnology research sector. They provide a high quality service to their customers in a number of industries including pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. Their values play a key role in the way they work and the high standard of the products they produce.


They are looking for an analytical Scientist to join their animal sports testing team and provide a high quality analytical service to customers under the required quality standards.


Key responsibilities include:

  1. Plan and conduct analytical work using appropriate techniques in accord with the requirements of ISO17025.
  2. Provision of results in a timely manner following documented procedures.
  3. Interpretation of analytical data and presentation of results and conclusions.
  4. Able to perform additional analyses and investigations as required.
  5. Perform routine maintenance on a range of scientific equipment.
  6. Working with LC-MS and GC-MS and high resolution accurate mass.

Skills Required:

  1. Degree or equivalent in a biological or chemical science.
  2. Knowledge and experience of chromatography and related techniques.
  3. Knowledge and experience of mass spectrometry and particularly GC-MS and LC-MS techniques.
