We are currently recruiting for a Legal Secretary, to join the team at our client, based in Nottingham.

As a Legal Secretary in the Commercial Property and Corporate department, you will provide essential administrative and typing support, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
Your duties will include:
Audio and copy typing using the BigHand digital dictation system
Producing legal documents and case file notes with a high degree of accuracy
General administrative support including filing, document formatting and correspondence
Handling client queries via telephone and in person
Supporting fee earners and the wider legal team with organisational tasks
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Methodical and organised approach to work
Ability to manage tasks under pressure and meet deadlines
Professional and approachable, with a strong team ethic
Must have:
Experience with audio typing (legal environment preferred but not essential)
Proficiency in MS Word and general IT literacy
Solid English language skills grammar, spelling and formatting
Desirable:
Prior experience working in a legal firm
Familiarity with BigHand digital dictation or similar systems
