JLA offers an end-to-end, on-premise machine supply and breakdown service called Total Care, along with additional products and services. Driven by a world-class Sales & Marketing team, JLA owns and maintains all assets and has an efficient on-site operations team working daily with customers.

Role Overview:

This pivotal role within the Inventory team requires exceptional organisational skills. The successful candidate will manage stock orders with our machine suppliers, handle non-stock orders, ensure accurate delivery information, chase ETAs, and perform price checks. Maintaining an up-to-date system that reflects real-time data is essential for supporting our customer service colleagues.

The candidate will collaborate across functions including sales, customer service, engineering, technical, and finance, working with our install and third-party warehouse teams to monitor supplier performance.

Key Tasks:
  1. Setting up new products as approved by the product management department
  2. Issuing purchase orders to suppliers via the stock management system
  3. Maintaining accurate delivery due date information with suppliers
  4. Ensuring pricing accuracy based on supplier confirmations
  5. Liaising across departments to ensure smooth information flow
  6. Supporting the Inventory team with ad hoc requests and projects to optimize stock levels
  7. Managing the returns process, including timely approval and credit management
Candidate Criteria:
  • Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office and business systems
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Experience supporting supply chain projects or similar functions
  • Familiarity with supply chain software (e.g., ERP, inventory management systems)
