Are you an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist looking for a part-time locum role in Surrey?

We have an exciting opportunity available for 2 days per week!

Job Details

• Job Title: Independent Prescribing Pharmacist
• Location: Surrey - GP Surgery
• Duration: 2 months
• Schedule: 2 weekdays per week (9am - 5pm, days to be confirmed)
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: TBC
• Rate of Pay: £30 - £34 per hour depending on experience

What You'll Be Doing

• Support with medication reconciliation
• Perform CQC safety searches and audits
• Manage repeat prescriptions and medicines optimisation
• Ensure patient safety through effective prescribing practices
• Work collaboratively with the practice team to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements & Qualifications

• A current and valid Independent Prescribing qualification
• Experience using EMIS clinical system
• Background in primary care, ideally in a GP setting
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Availability for on-site work in South West London

Working Hours & Contract Duration

This role offers a flexible part-time schedule, requiring availability for 2 weekdays per week (9am-5pm). Exact days to be confirmed. The contract is for 2 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
