Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Implement, maintain, and improve Data Loss Prevention tools.
2. Take ownership of the security stack, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes aligned with best practices.
3. Monitor and address emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends, ensuring timely implementation of countermeasures.
4. Perform vulnerability assessments, threat analysis, and incident response.
5. Participate in incident response efforts by conducting log analysis, gathering evidence, and executing remediation tasks.
6. Collaborate with infrastructure, security operations, and product teams to identify and mitigate security issues.

Qualifications:

1. 2 to 5 years' experience in cybersecurity or 1 year in a related technical area.
2. Experience managing endpoint security, including protection, baselines, and vulnerability management.
3. Experience with DLP tools such as Microsoft Purview or DTEX.
4. Experience working in a cloud environment with a distributed workforce.
5. Strong communication skills to translate technical details into understandable insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certifications like Security+, Network+, PJPT, PNPT, or Cloud Security certifications (AZ-500, AZ-700, AZ-305).
2. Background in computer networking.
3. Experience with scripting languages for automation.
4. Previous experience as a security or infrastructure engineer in a cloud environment.
