About Our Client

Our client, based in Southampton, is going through a series of projects over the next 12 months and needs temporary support within the day to day runnings of the transactional function. Based near central Southampton, the candidate will need to commute to the office daily (parking onsite!).

Job Description

As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Matching, coding and processing invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with queries
  • Raising invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Allocating cash to the correct account
  • Keeping up to date customer/supplier records
  • Adhoc duties as needed

The Successful Applicant

In order to be considered for the Accounts Assistant role, you must:

  • Have previously worked within a similar role and be able to demonstrate this
  • Be immediately available or able to start in the New Year
  • Be able to work as part of a small team
  • Be confident using a range of systems including Excel
  • Be able to prioritise and multi-task
  • Have excellent communication skills - written and verbal
