Financial Manager - £67-72K

Hays Senior Finance are working with a US-owned manufacturing company with a £40m+ UK turnover. This is a dynamic and growing manufacturing company, part of a larger group with multiple sales channels and divisions across the UK. They have innovative products and a commitment to excellence evidenced by significant R&D investment. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead the team in Warrington.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of management accounts and financial accounts
• Maintain close monitoring of industrial KPIs
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
• Supervision of cash flow forecasts and debt collection
• Manage and develop the finance team of four
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to senior management
• Preparation of the annual budget and 3-year plan and regular year end re-forecasting
• Act as a business partner to various departments, providing financial guidance and support
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems

Qualifications:

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferable.
• Strong knowledge of management accounts, financial accounts, budgeting, and forecasting
• Excellent team management and leadership skills
• Proficiency in variance analysis and business partnering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
