Location: Broadclyst, Devon

Description: Finance Administrator
Exeter Onsite (plenty of parking & easy public transport commute)
Up to £26k + company bonus, salary rise post probation

Join a respected, growing insurance brokerage in Exeter! We re looking for a proactive Finance Administrator to financial admin and handle policy renewals. You ll liaise with insurers and customers to secure the best terms and support the business by reconciling payments, allocating fees, and resolving account queries.

What You ll Do

  • Support the directors with the day to day finance admin for the business
  • Build strong client/insurer relationships, ensure timely payments and credit control
  • Reconcile statements & allocate payments
  • Spot and resolve financial discrepancies - you'll be an excel whizz!
  • Keep records up to date and accurate, utilising internal systems (Zoho)
  • Freedom to enhance processes that will be beneficial to the business
  • Support the renewals team when needed, assisting with customer queries on occasion
What We re Looking For
  • Strong admin or finance background - not heaps of experience needed, just some experience of this type of role (1 year +)
  • Experience using Excel and confident with numbers and spreadsheets
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • A team player with a positive, organised approach
  • Willingness to learn - this is the first role of it's kind in the business, and full support and training will be provided from day 1 and ongoing.
  • Have the full right to work in the UK (unfortunately we cannot offer sponsorship)
  • Comfortable onsite in Exeter 9-5 Monday - Friday
