We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the position of BusinessManager for NHS Contracts.

The primary objective will be to promote our services and capabilities,negotiate new contracts, and provide effective communication between our organisationand NHS commissioners by building meaningful and trusting relationships toensure our Organisation is viewed as a strategic partner in line with the NHSConstitution for England and commissioning choices.

Previous experience of NHS Provider contracts would be beneficialalongside an understanding of the Choice Framework to promote ourOrganisations ethos of care with passion, showcasing our ability to deliverhigh standards of effective, safe care, compliant with all regulatorystandards, using innovation and technology to drive change and efficiency.

Job Title:Business Manager- NHS Contracts

Based: Beacon Medical Services Group Ltd Headquarters, Northenden

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer

Accountable to: Chief Executive Officer

Job Summary

As the Business Manager for NHS Contracts, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with NHS commissioners on behalf of our organisation.

The primary objective will be to promote our services and capabilities, negotiate new contracts, and provide effective communication between our organisation and NHS commissioners by building meaningful and trusting relationships to ensure the Organisation is viewed as a strategic partner in line with the NHS Constitution for England and commissioning choices.

Understanding the Choice Framework to promote the Organisations ethos of care with passion through showcasing our ability to deliver high standards of effective, safe care, compliant with all regulatory standards, using innovation and technology to drive change and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaison with NHS Commissioners

Develop and implement marketing strategies to engage with NHS commissioners and promote our services, in particular the Choice Framework principles

Proactively engage with commissioners to understand their needs, priorities, and challenges.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within NHS commissioning groups.

Act as a liaison between our organisation and NHS commissioners, facilitating communication and addressing any concerns or queries.

Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and NHS policies to identify opportunities and risks.

Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to develop tailored proposals and solutions for NHS commissioners.

Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on market developments, opportunities, and challenges

Market Analysis and Strategy Development

Stay informed about NHS commissioning policies, regulations, and market trends to inform contract negotiation strategies.

Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify opportunities for service expansion and growth.

Work closely with senior management to develop strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing our position in the healthcare market.

Communication and Reporting

Communicate updates and key decisions on commissioning plans to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity.

Prepare reports and presentations on financial implications, and market dynamics for senior management and board members.

Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and optimisation of services.

Infection Control Statement

The post holder has an important responsibility for, and contribution to make, towards infection control and must be familiar with the infection control and hygiene requirements of this role.

These requirements are set out in the National Code of Practice on Infection Control and in local policies and procedures. These standards must be strictly complied with at all times.

Training & Development

  • Undertake all mandatory training as required for the role.

  • Recognise that promoting the welfare and safeguarding children, young people and adults is everyones business and access training and supervision as appropriate to the role.
  • To support the organisation in ensuring service users are protected from abuse or the risk of abuse and their human rights are respected and upheld.
  • To ensure concerns are responded to appropriately in line with the Organisations Safeguarding policies
