Number 1 in finance for a thriving SME in Sheffield.

This is a varied, all-round role for a business that is delivering impressive growth and has exciting plans.

You’ll be looking after the company finances in all their glory – liaising with external accountants at year end, producing periodic management accounts, keeping a handle on cash forecasting, managing the VAT return, bank reconciliation, payment runs, etc.

You’ll be someone who loves autonomy and thrives in a broad company accounting role for a modern SME.

This is a stable, profitable, and growing business – a secure and welcoming environment. It’s a busy and involved role where you can make a real difference but the work-life balance is completely sensible (no late nights or deadlines that mean your laptop is open at the weekend).

Required:
  • AAT or equivalent as a minimum.
  • Excellent core accounting skills – previous experience as Company Accountant, Finance Manager, or Management Accountant for an agile smaller business.
  • Experience of Sage or similar package.
  • A hands-on approach and happiness to get stuck into the nitty-gritty where required.
