Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic EdTech Support Coordinator to join our team at South and City College Birmingham. As an EdTech Support Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in empowering curriculum managers to make informed, data-driven decisions. You will be responsible for enhancing and managing the college's data analytics systems, ensuring they are robust, user-friendly, and aligned with educational goals. Your expertise will support curriculum managers in interpreting data insights to optimize curriculum design and delivery. By fostering a culture of data literacy and continuous improvement, you will contribute to the overall academic success and operational efficiency of the institution. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our staff and curriculum management teams with queries related to learner management and virtual learning platforms across college. Reporting to the Assistant Direct of Digital Innovation, you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of learning management reporting and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide first-line support to staff for EBS learner management system queries (EBS Ontrack)
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to learner management systems (EBS Ontrack)
- Collaborate with the MIS and IT teams to ensure smooth operation of the learner management system for quality assurance.
- Conduct training sessions for staff to enhance their proficiency with EBS and data reporting.
- Document common issues and solutions to improve support processes.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in EBS systems and services, alongside key stakeholders in MIS and IT Teams.
- Support the implementation of new data reporting, working directly with the Assistant Director of Digital Innovation
- Support the EdTech Team with day-to-day system development request
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support business operations.
- Coordinate with different departments to understand their MIS needs and provide support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to MIS systems.
- Implement and update MIS protocols and procedures.
- Train staff on efficiently using MIS tools and systems.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and recommend upgrades

- Understanding of Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint)
