We are looking for enthusiastic individuals, who want to help us to develop the evidence base in emergency medicine further. Applicants ideally will have a background in emergency department nursing and/or clinical research, and should be willing to help our team to work with other hospitals both nationally and internationally to develop and deliver research into the latest practice in emergency medicine.
We are currently recruiting to fill a full time position to join our award winning team of research nurses and develop research across Barts Health Emergency Departments. The successful applicants will contribute to a team of nurses working across the three acute hospital sites to recruit patients into National institute of Health Research (NIHR) portfolio studies
The role will involve the identification of potential participants to the TiLLI research study. The research nurse will provide information to potential participants about TiLLI and gain informed consent. The research nurse will be a point of contact for participants and health professionals and will have responsibility for managing study data and follow-up of participants. The research nurse will assist in the development and implementation of the wider Emergency Department research agenda.
