Join an outstanding Trust to deliver optimal care to our community, ensuring adherence to the Trust values and beliefs. You will work alongside the Head of Nursing for Emergency Care, ED Matron, and a senior multidisciplinary team within the Paediatric Emergency Department.
The PED collaborates with other paediatric services, including Inpatients, Children’s Assessment Unit, and elective admissions, ensuring cohesive paediatric care from arrival to discharge.
The Paediatric Emergency Department (PED) features its own Resuscitation Room and has access to adjacent digital imaging facilities, including a CT scanner, to provide advanced emergency care for paediatric trauma and emergencies. The senior nursing team supports clinicians, sisters, and nursing staff in delivering high-quality care while developing their clinical and management skills.
This role includes dedicated management time to effectively lead your team and collaborate with paediatric senior colleagues across the trust, including a clinical facilitator working across divisions.
