Senior Quant – Commodities (Energy Focus)

We’re partnering with a major player in the trading space to find a senior-level quant with deep expertise in energy markets. This is a front-office role, building the models and tools that drive trading and risk decisions across power, gas, and related products.

Your impact:

• Build and evolve models used to price and manage risk on energy trades
• Develop tools in Python/C++ that feed into trading and risk platforms
• Act as a key partner to traders and commercial teams
• Troubleshoot existing frameworks and contribute to core quant systems

You bring:

• Proven experience in derivatives modelling and risk methodologies
• Fluency in Python or C++ in a production setting
• Strong communication and a commercial mindset

Nice to have:

• Experience in commodities trading, especially power/gas
• Knowledge of both financial and physical energy products
