The Team

The HR team is responsible for developing HR strategies aligned with the firm’s goals and implementing policies across all areas of people management, including professional development, recruitment, diversity, employee relations, pay and benefits, and organizational change.

Responsibilities
  1. Support the Head of ED&I and the Senior ED&I & Wellbeing Adviser in delivering the firm’s ED&I and Wellbeing strategies.
  2. Act as a key contact for internal ED&I Committees, Employee Impact Groups, and Mental Health First Aiders; organize meetings, agendas, and minutes.
  3. Assist with events and awareness campaigns, liaising with external speakers and internal teams for initiatives like Wellbeing Week, Mental Health Awareness Week, and cultural months.
  4. Support HR’s rotation of Solicitor Apprentices as a buddy during their six-month seat.
  5. Maintain budgets for ED&I and Wellbeing activities.
  6. Assist with diversity reporting and submissions, including social mobility and regulatory indices.
  7. Help organize internal seminars, events, and podcasts, including speaker research and logistics.
  8. Draft internal communications via intranet and firm-wide updates.
  9. Support work experience and internship programs related to ED&I.
  10. Stay updated on best practices by attending external seminars and events.
  11. Occasionally deputize for senior ED&I team members during inductions.
Skills and Experience
  • Passion for ED&I and Wellbeing.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organized, proactive, and deadline-oriented.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to inclusivity.
Additional Information

This role supports flexible working or job sharing. Working hours are 9:30 am - 5:30 pm, with flexibility for additional hours as needed, following the firm’s agile working policy, which includes home working and minimum days in the London office.
