Job summary

Quantum Tuning Ltd in Maidenhead is seeking an ECU File Processing Technician on a full-time basis. You will process ECU files submitted by our dealer network, analysing and modifying them to meet dealer specifications.

Full training will be provided, with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail in a computer-driven environment. The role is office-based in Maidenhead, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, with salary up to £35,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Very good general computer skills are required.
• A logical and analytical approach to problems is essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy are important.
• Ability to learn new software and processes quickly.
• Comfortable working independently and making decisions after training.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review ECU files submitted by dealers.
• Identify vehicle, ECU and software involved.
• Analyse ECU software using specialist tools.
• Apply dealer-specified modifications to files.
• Check completed files for accuracy before release.
• Identify unusual or potentially problematic files.
• Collaborate with the technical team on complex cases.
• Communicate with dealers when more information is needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.
