Early Career Teachers (ECTs) – Gain Experience & Flexibility in Glastonbury!

Are you an enthusiastic ECT looking to expand your experience across different year groups and schools? Do you want the flexibility to shape your working week while building your confidence in the classroom?

At Teaching Personnel, we’re passionate about supporting ECTs at the start of their teaching journey. We work with a wide network of schools in Glastonbury and the surrounding areas, offering you the chance to:

What you’ll need for vetting: As part of our safeguarding commitment, all candidates go through an in-depth vetting process. You’ll need to provide:

  • A valid DBS certificate (or be happy to apply for one through us)
  • Professional references covering at least the last two years (including one from your most recent placement or employment)
  • Proof of right to work in the UK (such as a passport or birth certificate)
  • Proof of address (such as a recent utility bill or bank statement)
  • Relevant qualification certificates (such as your QTS or degree certificate)

This ensures you’re fully ready to step into the classroom with confidence, knowing both you and the schools you work with are safeguarded.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
