Position Details

Role: ECT Primary Teacher

Location: Leeds

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for primary students.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment encouraging participation and collaboration.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback for their growth.
• Organize and participate in extracurricular activities like clubs and competitions.
• Collaborate with colleagues and promote interdisciplinary learning.

Requirements

• Valid primary teaching certification (PGCE or QTS) in the UK.
• Bachelor’s degree in history or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience teaching at primary level (preferred).
• Local to the Teesside area (driver preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Hold an Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
