The Greater Manchester Resilience Hub (GMRH) is a unique, all-age, psychology-led service established as a partnership between NHS mental health trusts in Greater Manchester, initially in response to the Manchester Arena Attack on 22nd May 2017. The service has expanded to include multiple workstreams, creating a varied workload.
GMRH provides support to those impacted by the Arena attack (a nationwide service), offers staff wellbeing services for health and social care staff across GM, supports partner organisations in responding to major incidents, provides specialist trauma-related training, and offers consultation on trauma-responsive approaches.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, understanding of trauma-responsive approaches, and a willingness to embrace and promote change are essential for this role. The successful candidate will work within a supportive team and contribute to an innovative service leading nationally in delivering all-age, family-focused, psychosocial, and trauma-responsive care.
This opportunity is a fixed-term contract or secondment until the end of March 2024, with the possibility of extension.
Please see attached documentation (job description and person specification) for full details of the role and responsibilities.
At the Hub, we support and supervise our team in line with our values and beliefs. Successful candidates will need to be committed to this style of team working. Given the complex nature of the work, there are many opportunities for support and CPD. The team holds regular face-to-face and online meetings, individual supervisions, and line management.
