Your Contribution

As an ECT, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons in your specialist subject to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with potential for Key Stage 5.

  • Developing strong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills under the guidance of your mentor and department.

  • Actively participating in the school's professional development and induction programmes.

  • Assessing student learning and providing constructive feedback to support their progress.

  • Contributing to the positive ethos and pastoral care of the school, including a form tutor role.

  • Embracing new teaching strategies and technologies to enhance student engagement.
