Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to place in supportive schools in Sheffield and Chesterfield. The role offers pathways from PGCE to classroom teaching with mentoring and leadership support.

Roles include flexible days, with placements designed to ease workload while helping you grow as a confident educator. Training and safeguarding support are provided, and DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates ready to enter teaching with PGCE or equivalent.
• Willing to complete Thrive ECT training if not already done.
• DBS check and safeguarding training required.

Responsibilities

• Support ECTs in finding suitable schools in Sheffield and Chesterfield.
• Assist with onboarding and induction processes for new ECTs.
• Provide guidance on CPD and safeguarding requirements.

The Details

• Salary: 174.72- £184.83 per day, paid through PAYE—what you earn is what you take home.
• Roles available in both Sheffield and Chesterfield to suit your commute.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
