Team Summary
The Client Services function provides industry-leading operational support to Visa's clients around the world. With our deep knowledge and expertise, we bring the voice of the customer into the design, development and successful deployment of Visa products and services. We are trusted partners to Visa's clients, providing expertise to support and successfully grow their business.
Within Client Services, the Client Lifecycle Operations Team in Europe is made up of services covering Client Onboarding, Licensing, Risk Lifecycle Management, Card Design and Cobrand. The team provide operational support to clients, entailing specialised knowledge regarding Visa licenses. Our clients are primarily financial institutions and fintechs.
Risk Lifecycle Management supports client onboarding activities ensuring that new clients adhere to fundamental risk management measures to safeguard against fraud and mitigate other risks. The Risk Lifecycle Management team also review clients' activities upon changes to their Visa Licence. The Ecosystem Risk Senior Consultant is the senior subject matter expert for the Risk Lifecycle Management function.
The Senior Consultant will be responsible for ensuring our Ecosystem Risk policies, procedures and processes for new clients (and changes in licences) are appropriate from a risk and market perspective. As the senior representative, you will be comfortable engaging with a broad range of stakeholders. You will also be comfortable taking the lead on initiatives and being a role model for others.
The Senior Consultant will be supporting new client or licence applications, ensuring that clients meet minimum risk controls via the risk assessment process and providing expertise and consultation on the process for new clients where required.
We are looking for someone to who is comfortable assessing payments risk, applying customer centricity and uses a growth mindset to enable strategic direction and performance.

• Significant experience in the payments (or related) industry, with strong issuing and acquiring knowledge
• Analytical and experienced in managing risk
• Strong, influential presence and negotiation skills
• Excellent consultative, communication and presentation skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead change
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
