We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our thriving Economics department in a Catholic sixth form college in Ealing.

About the Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
  • Support students in preparing for their A Level Economics examinations, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to succeed.
  • Guide students in conducting independent research and completing challenging coursework, fostering their critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our Economics curriculum remains relevant, engaging, and rigorous.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the college to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in Economics education.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS or equivalent.
  • Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Economics.
  • Demonstrates a passion for teaching Economics and a commitment to student success.
  • Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Has a good understanding of the A Level Economics specifications and assessment requirements.
