Job Description:

An Independent school in Barnet requires a knowledgeable Economics Teacher to join them from September. This is a permanent, full-time position. The ideal Economics Teacher will deliver engaging lessons to Key Stages 4 and 5. We are looking for a dedicated Economics Teacher.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Economics lessons, covering core economic concepts.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
  • Develop students' understanding of economic principles and analytical skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the economics curriculum and resources.
  • Organise and lead economics-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Economics.
  • Proven experience teaching economics at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of economic theory.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
