About the Role:

As our Permanent Teacher of Economics (A-Level Specialist), you will play a key role in guiding Sixth Form students towards a sophisticated understanding of economic principles and global issues. You will deliver engaging lessons at A-Level, fostering critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to apply economic models to real-world scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated Economics lessons primarily at A-Level.
2. Create a positive and stimulating learning environment for advanced Economics students within the Business Department.
3. Develop and share high-quality teaching resources and contribute to the A-Level Economics curriculum.
4. Track student progress, provide feedback, and support UCAS applications for Economics courses.
5. Collaborate with colleagues within the Business Department and the wider school community.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. A strong degree in Economics or a related field.
3. Proven experience teaching Economics at A-Level.
4. Up-to-date knowledge of the A-Level Economics specification and assessment.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills, especially with Sixth Form students.
