We are seeking an experienced Lead Econometrician with Market Mix Modelling (MMM) experience

from a media agency or consultancy. You will be passionate about developing the next generation of marketing intelligence solutions for our business.

Our business requires constant insight generation via Market Mix Modelling (MMM) to support various marketing strategies. You will be responsible for creating and delivering innovative ways of working to meet this need, including automating data collection, processing, modelling, and reporting to deliver insights.

Our Econometrics team comprises talented mathematicians, statisticians, and economists. The team builds econometric models used to support decision-making by stakeholders in marketing, finance, and compliance, collaborating closely with other teams to deliver results and insights.

What you will be doing:

1. Helping to create and implement our next-generation MMM solution, deploying and maintaining econometric models across different brands and markets.
2. Ensuring project delivery addresses fundamental questions effectively, working with internal stakeholders and support functions, as well as external partners.
3. Supporting the management team in developing our internal MMM team by fostering a positive culture, team growth, and development.
4. Driving marketing efficiency and improvements through optimisation and scenario planning.
5. Participating in building and maintaining marketing optimisation tools, interactive dashboards, and automating processes to enhance our econometrics capabilities.

Who we are looking for:

We are committed to responsible gambling and seek individuals who support this ethos. You will have:

• Advanced experience from a media agency, consultancy, or relevant industry, with a numerate degree such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
• Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and advanced Excel skills for modelling, data processing, and analysis.
• Experience leading econometric projects and mentoring junior team members, with strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• A good understanding of media planning and buying, and how MMM can improve marketing strategies. Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, results orientation, and critical thinking are essential.
