Job description

Econometrician - Media Agency

About Us
Integrated media agency specialising in data-driven strategy, creative thinking, and behavioural insights to shape campaigns.

The Role
Seeking a commercially minded Econometrician with expertise in economic analysis and forecasting. This position sits within the Business Intelligence department and will be central to evaluating market dynamics, predicting performance outcomes, and supporting strategic decisions that drive client growth and innovation.

You will work at the intersection of analytics, economic modelling, and creative strategy—turning data into commercially valuable insights that guide investment, pricing, targeting, and distribution decisions across entertainment and cultural projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain forecasting models to project demand, revenue potential, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Experience working on MMM projects.
  • Conduct economic and commercial evaluations to inform pricing strategies, market entry, and audience segmentation.
  • Apply econometric methods to analyse audience behaviour and identify key performance drivers.
  • Collaborate with creative, strategic, and technical teams to provide commercially relevant recommendations.
  • Translate technical data into clear, actionable insights for internal teams and clients.
  • Keep up to date with market trends, economic modelling tools, and analytical best practices.
  • Contribute to client proposals, reports, and innovation initiatives.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in forecasting, commercial strategy, or business analysis (media/entertainment or consultancy preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of econometric and predictive modelling techniques.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Excel, R, Python, or SQL, plus BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Proven ability to integrate inputs from multiple data disciplines into coherent narratives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex models to non-specialists, as this role would be client-facing.
