The eCommerce team is recruiting an eCommerce Trading Lead to be at the forefront of our UK growth on Menswear! Based at Head Office in Leicestershire,offering a competitive salary alongside great benefits!

The UK Trading team fuels UK growth by optimising online product sales on Next.co.uk across Womenswear, Menswear, Childrenswear and Home. They drive exciting product launches and strategic promotions to maximise sales and brand visibility.

The role

In this exciting lead role you will play a key part in bringing product to life on site and leading the marketing piece for your division. You will work closely with various teams such as the Product Team, Marketing, Brand Marketing and data to drive performance for your area, communicate exciting messages and new ranges with our customers whilst working hard to attract new customers to our site.

What else is involved?

  • Leading marketing for your division such as Editorial Emails, Push Notifications and Homepage messaging
  • Own the marketing plan for your division, staying ahead of trends and using sales and product insight to make commercial decisions
  • Be responsive to trade each week, amending relevant marking and onsite exposure where necessary
  • Use reporting and metrics to constantly improve channel performance, sharing insights and highlighting opportunities
  • Play a key role in the customer experience on site, ensuring in various links products are boosted so they can find them easier and merchandise promotions and trends so they look great for when customers click through.
  • Drive sales; know what is working and what isn't, optimise and be aware of retail best sellers.

What we are looking for

  • Support the business owner to maximise the performance of all marketing for the division
  • Reviews metrics (CTR, AOV etc) to identify biggest optimisation opportunities
  • Works with the marketing team to target specific messages to a targeted pot of customers
  • Adopt a test and learn approach and share results with the wider team
  • Works closely with the wider Ecommerce team (UX, Data Science, Content & Marketing) to learn about the customer journey to propose changes and optimisations
  • Become a product expert in the area you will be working
  • Regularly supports the product teams with requests as well as informing them of any key developments and optimisations which will help to drive sales
  • Understanding of key competitors and the fashion retail ecommerce landscape
  • Supports investigations into issues and optimisation
