You will shape architecture across the customer journey, checkout, payments, order management and fulfilment, guiding design through to delivery and supporting significant growth and international expansion.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale ecommerce and omnichannel transformations.
• Ability to shape target-state architecture and roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Own solution architecture across a major Ecommerce and Omnichannel transformation.
• Design solutions spanning the complete customer and order journey.
• Shape target-state architecture and the roadmap from the existing technology landscape.
• Architect across web/app, product and catalogue, basket, checkout, payments, OMS, inventory, fulfilment, delivery and returns.
• Define integration patterns between ecommerce platforms, enterprise systems and third-party technology providers.
• Support the evolution towards scalable, modern and potentially composable/MACH-based architectures.
• Translate commercial and customer requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering teams and Enterprise Architecture.
• Provide architectural leadership across onshore, nearshore and offshore delivery partners.
• Ensure solutions can support increased transaction volumes, new customer propositions and expansion into additional markets.
• Work with senior stakeholders to explain architectural decisions, options and trade-offs.
