Job summary

People Marketing Fashion Recruitment partners with a globally recognised organisation to recruit an Ecom Merchandiser for the UK online business. You will own merchandising planning, trading and inventory strategy, driving profitable growth through in-season decisions and strategy continuity.

You will analyse performance, develop assortment plans based on Open-To-Buy (OTB), place orders, and coordinate launches with marketing and operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of merchandising, inventory management, or retail analytics experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or similar tools.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly, quarterly, and seasonal trade and inventory performance reports.
• Conduct post-event and promotion analyses to identify successes and improvements.
• Compile in-depth seasonal product reviews highlighting hits and opportunities.
• Conduct monthly website analyses and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide ad hoc analyses to support decision-making processes.
• Conduct competitive analyses to support product, pricing and promotions.
• Forecast seasonal trends and advise the design team on product development.
• Develop assortment plans based on Open-To-Buy parameters.
• Prepare product selection and place orders in line with OTB and launches.
• Prepare seasonal buy review presentations and identify gaps.
• Manage gaps and cancellations post-order confirmation.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop launch plans and product packs.
• Coordinate with operations to monitor delivery schedules for launches.
• Evaluate in-season buy adjustments based on performance and inventory levels.
• Oversee allocations to e-commerce channels and optimize inventory distribution.
