Job Description:

The Purpose of the Role:

To lead and develop the e-commerce category strategies for Food & Drink products, focusing on achieving revenue and profitability targets through market analysis, customer insights, and collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies to achieve and exceed revenue and profitability targets. Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify and implement continuous improvements to site and category performance.
  • Collaborate with digital, product, engineering, UX, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics to manage inventory levels and demand forecasting.
  • Drive on-site campaign activity and promotional changeovers based on commercial opportunities and customer demand.
  • Enhance the customer journey from discovery to post-purchase, leveraging data for decision-making.

Location:

This role can be based in Nuneaton or London, with occasional travel to other H&B locations. We support flexible and hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of 2 days in the office.

The Person:

Key Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce principles, including promotional strategies and customer journey mapping.
  • Experience in monitoring market trends and translating insights into strategies, preferably within Food & Drink.
  • Proficiency in digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, etc.) for performance measurement and improvements.
  • Knowledge of CMS and merchandising tools to optimize website and app performance.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement revenue-driving opportunities quickly.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
