E-commerce Manager

Location : Leeds, UK (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Salary : £42,000 – £45,000 DOE

Type : Permanent

My client is looking for an experienced E-commerce Manager to join their growing digital agency. This role sits across e-commerce trading, digital project delivery, and strategic auditing, offering genuine ownership across client accounts.

You’ll act as the main e-commerce lead for multiple clients, owning trading performance and growth, while also supporting web design and build projects and delivering insight‑led digital strategies.

E-COMMERCE MANAGER ROLE :
  • Own the e-commerce trading strategy, including annual planning and day‑to‑day execution
  • Full accountability for e-commerce channel performance and P&L
  • Manage email marketing strategies using Klaviyo
  • Manage affiliate marketing programmes via networks such as Webgains
  • Coordinate internal channel teams to deliver cross‑channel campaigns
  • Day‑to‑day website management including banners, content, visual merchandising and product setup
  • Identify, brief and test web development tasks to improve UX, conversion and performance
  • Act as Digital Project Manager on web design and build projects
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to scope
  • Produce daily trading reports and monthly performance reports
  • Analyse Google Analytics data to shape optimisation and strategy
  • Conduct weekly competitor audits
  • Audit client digital operations and deliver SWOT‑led, costed strategic recommendations
E-COMMERCE MANAGER ESSENTIAL SKILLS :
  • Strong experience across core digital marketing channels (Email, Affiliate, Search, Social, Display)
  • Experience working with Shopify and WordPress websites
  • Hands‑on experience managing email and affiliate channels
  • Confident with Google Analytics and Excel‑based reporting
  • Strong communication skills with client‑facing experience
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive, commercially minded and comfortable taking ownership
