Job summary

Pets at Home Limited is seeking an Ecommerce Trading Executive to support digital sales performance across assigned categories. You will work with the Ecommerce Trading Manager, Buying, Marketing and Optimisation teams to execute the online trading plan, ensuring products, content and promotions deliver strong commercial results and an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

2–4 years' experience in ecommerce, digital trading, or online merchandising.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of trading levers.
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Google Analytics or Power BI preferred.
Detail-oriented with a passion for online retail and customer experience.
Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Use analytics tools to understand the full customer journey from entry point to checkout.
Continuously optimise the customer journey to boost conversion and profitable sales.
Own and develop category taxonomy, filters, and facets.
Analyse and improve onsite search functionality to enhance product discoverability.
Work with campaign and content teams to optimise landing pages and promotional content.
Ensure product placement, banners, and category structures drive engagement and sales.
Monitor daily and weekly performance, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
Produce daily, weekly, and monthly trading reports using Power BI and Google Analytics.
Track KPIs including sessions, conversion, AOV and revenue, sharing insights with the Digital Trading Manager.
