Role Summary

We are seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented eCommerce Director to lead our overall eCommerce strategy and execution. This role also serves as the primary liaison and relationship manager for our merchants. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of online retail, a proven track record in digital growth, and excellent interpersonal skills to build strong partnerships with our merchant community. The eCommerce Director will shape our digital storefront, optimize the customer journey, and ensure merchant success on our platform.

Key Responsibilities
eCommerce Strategy & Operations
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive eCommerce strategy to boost online sales, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Oversee platform aspects including site merchandising, content management, user experience (UX), customer journey, and technical performance.
  • Analyze market, merchant, and customer trends to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Manage eCommerce activities, forecast sales, and report on KPIs such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and technology teams to ensure a cohesive online presence.
  • Implement A/B testing and personalization to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and compliant with regulations.
Merchant Relationship Management
  • Serve as the main contact for strategic merchant discussions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with merchants, understanding their goals and challenges.
  • Develop strategies for efficient merchant onboarding and retention.
  • Provide merchants with insights and tools to optimize their performance, such as product listing tips, promotional strategies, and inventory management.
  • Negotiate terms, resolve conflicts, and ensure merchant satisfaction.
  • Gather feedback to improve the platform and inform product development.
  • Advocate for merchant needs within the company and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
