Citi Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) offers the industry's most comprehensive suite of treasury and trade solutions including cash management, payments, receivables, liquidity management and investment services, working capital solutions, commercial card programs, trade finance and services. With digital and mobile platforms, tools, and analytics, Citi TTS leads in delivering innovative solutions.

As a leading global issuer, Citi provides Travel, Purchase, and Virtual cards solutions to large and middle-market corporations, financial institutions, and public sector entities. Growing sales in the eCommerce space is a strategic priority. The Global eCommerce Sales team for Commercial Cards is a strategic part of the broader Citi Global Commercial Cards Product Sales organization. This team specializes in strategic eCommerce opportunities across all TTS client segments.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive Strategic Growth: Lead growth and origination of new eCommerce Commercial Cards business across UK, Europe, and Middle East & Africa.
  • Expand B2B Travel Segment: Grow wallet share of B2B travel intermediaries via new acquisition of Citi’s product suite.
  • Originate High-impact flows: Drive initiatives to capture new flows within eCommerce.
  • Thought Leadership: Provide market insights into eCommerce payment space and commercial cards.
  • Collaborative Deal Execution: Work with TTS Sales and Banking to drive deal origination and support.
  • Focus on Revenue Realization: Manage revenue ramp-up and ensure positive client experience during implementation.
  • Data Driven Strategy Development: Use data and analytics to identify trends and optimize go-to-market strategies.
  • Achieve Sales targets: Meet annual sales and revenue goals.

What we’ll need from you:

Deep knowledge of payments and eCommerce trends, with a proven sales record in corporate banking. Ability to translate business strategy into effective sales practices. Broad understanding of core systems, technology, and products. Thought leadership in the commercial cards eCommerce space.

  • Expertise in commercial card products and industry targeting eCommerce clients.
  • Proven top performer in corporate sales within banking/finance sector.
  • Experience in B2B travel industry is a plus.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Creative problem-solving ability.
  • Experience in a matrixed environment.
  • Relationship-building skills across regions.
  • Strong project management and attention to detail.
  • Industry sales experience, preferably in large/mid-market sectors.
  • University Degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to travel 50%.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with senior clients.
  • Ability to work in a global matrix environment.
