Job summary

Digital Gurus is recruiting an Ecommerce Assistant to support the Buying team with product data, costs, retail pricing and margin information. The role focuses on accurate data handling across systems and efficient supplier communication.

The position is hybrid, requiring at least two days per week in the London office. A progression path into Buying, Merchandising, Commercial or Ecommerce is available in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Proficient in Excel and spreadsheets.
• Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Dropship Buying team.
• Maintain accurate product, cost, retail, margin and supplier information across relevant systems, trackers and internal documents.
• Support the Buying team with the administration and processing of new lines, commercial changes and product amendments.
• Identify discrepancies and take appropriate action, escalating where required.
• Assist Buyers with ad hoc requests, reporting, analysis and administrative tasks to support day-to-day trading activity.
• Ensure key trackers, working documents and reports are accurate, up to date and completed within agreed timescales.
• Work collaboratively with Buyers, suppliers and wider internal teams to resolve queries and ensure information is processed efficiently.
• Use initiative to identify issues, investigate problems and find practical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual administration and increase efficiency across the Buying team.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure actions are followed through to completion.
• Provide flexible support across the wider Buying function and assist with other duties or projects as required.
