Bettys & Taylors is seeking an Ecommerce Assistant on a 7-month fixed-term contract in Harrogate to support seasonal launches, update product pages and ensure accurate merchandising. You will work with CMS platforms (Magento, Nosto, Klevu) and HTML to keep site content fresh and engaging.

You will collaborate with the CX Manager and Digital Marketing Manager to build marketing emails, test features, and optimise product listings and SEO. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with seasonal online launches and collate product information for timely launches.
• Use HTML to update site content and upload/edit content via the CMS.
• Brief photography requirements and upload assets to Magento; track FIR updates and live/rested products.
• Build marketing emails using prebuilt templates with CX Manager and Digital Marketing Manager support.
• Test bugs, tickets, sprints and releases when required.
• Ensure products are correctly set up on the website; edit/add products and optimise images.
• Improve search rankings by optimizing meta titles and descriptions and perform ad hoc SEO audits.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in our Ecommerce team, and we are looking for a Ecommerce Assistant (7 month fixed term contract)to join us at Bettys Bakery where we create ourwonderful Bettys products which we sell in our branches and online.

As a Ecommerce Assistantyou will assist in coordinating seasonal product launches, updateproduct pages, ensuring categories are correctly merchandised and content is accurate, optimised and engaging. Using CMS platforms (including Magento, Nosto, Klevu) and HTML to update site content on a regular basis and under the guidance of the CX Manager build, test and send marketing emails following best practices and briefs provided by the Digital Marketing Manager.

Key responsibilities will be:

• Assist with seasonal launches online – collating product information and ensuring content is presented correctly for timely launches.
• Using HTML to make changes to the site, using the CMS to upload and edit online content.
• Assist in briefing photography requirements, sourcing copy, uploading to Magento, editing against FIR updates and the ongoing status of live/rested products.
• Assist in the building of marketing emails using prebuilt templates with the support of the CX Manager and in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager.
• Assist in the testing of bugs, tickets, sprints and releases when required.
• Ensure products are correctly set up on the website, regularly editing existing and adding new products to the website as required, including image optimisation.
• Improve our search engine rankings by optimising our meta titles and descriptions on the website, including ad hoc SEO audit actions.

Working pattern

About you

We don't expect you to have experience in Ecommerce but we do expect you to have a passion for digital andenthusiasm to progress in an online career. You will need to be a self-starter with a motivation for continuous improvement and a drive to learn, have inquisitive mindset, be effective at prioritising and achieving deadlines and finally be hands-on with a key eye for detail.You should have experience of working with Microsoft Office packages.
