Job description

CJS Portsmouth is the largest cleaning and hygiene distributor across the South Coast based in Portsmouth and we are currently looking for a full-time eCommerce Administrator as well as some Digital Marketing for our busy sales office. This role could be the perfect fit for a recent school or college graduate who has an interest in eCommerce and digital communications.

E-Commerce Operations

What will the role include:

  • Being the first port of contact for the Companys eShop
  • Explaining and advising customers on the use of the eShop
  • Manage product listings and content (descriptions, video, images).
  • Setting up customer eShop accounts/setting up customer templates for easier basket ordering
  • Setting up and maintaining product, manufacturer and subject categories within the eShop
  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the eShop

Digital Marketing

  • Create innovative and engaging social media content
  • Schedule and publish social media posts
  • Monitor and analyse social media performance
  • Writing content for additional digital marketing platforms

Additional Duties

  • Answering phones during busy periods as well as holiday cover

Experience, Skills And Attributes

  • Previous experience of working with a selling platform is desired for not essential as training will be given

  • IT skills including MS office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
