About The Role

You'll own the trading strategy and P&L for our direct-to-consumer channel, optimizing every commercial lever from merchandising and inventory management. Additionally, you'll have full ownership of our product catalogue, managing all product uploads and maintaining our PIM and DAM systems. This is a pivotal role for someone who combines analytical rigor with commercial instinct to maximize revenue and margin in a premium fashion environment.

Your responsibilities
Commercial Trading & P&L Management
  • Own the Ecommerce P&L with full accountability for revenue, margin, and inventory targets
  • Develop and execute weekly, monthly, and seasonal trading plans aligned to business goals
  • Identify and react to commercial opportunities and risks through daily trading analysis
  • Drive key trading metrics including conversion rate, average order value, and units per transaction
  • Manage inventory and stock turn to optimize working capital efficiency
  • Oversee all product operations from upload to retirement, ensuring catalogue accuracy
Merchandising & Product Strategy
  • Curate and optimize product assortment across all digital touchpoints
  • Lead site merchandising including category navigation, product ranking, and search optimization
  • Partner with merchandising team on digital performance insights
  • Manage product launches and seasonal transitions to maximize commercial impact
  • Develop bundling and cross-selling strategies to increase basket size
Product Catalogue & Content Management
  • Own the entire product catalogue including all product uploads, updates, and maintenance
  • Manage product collections, categories, and taxonomies across the platform
  • Ensure accurate and compelling product information including descriptions, specifications, and sizing
  • Oversee product launch timelines and coordinate new season uploads
  • Maintain product data quality and consistency across all channels
  • Own and manage the PIM (Product Information Management) system or equivalent
  • Oversee the DAM (Digital Asset Management) system for all product imagery and content
  • Coordinate with creative teams on product photography and content requirements
  • Ensure optimal product presentation through image selection and merchandising
Inventory & Stock Management
  • Balance newness with core continuity to maintain fresh product flow
  • Attend weekly inventory review meetings to identify slow sellers and follow up with action points to improve performance through re-merchandising the website and other activities.
  • Monitor size runs online and highlight any risks to the merchandising team
  • Monitor performance on replen product in particular, ensuring consistent performance. Work alongside our merchandising team to ensure wk’s cover is in line with any planned marketing activity.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
  • Deliver weekly trading reports with actionable insights and recommendations
  • Analyze customer behavior, product performance, and market trends
  • Monitor competitor activity and market positioning
  • Provide input on buying decisions based on historical performance and trend analysis
  • Lead monthly trading reviews with senior leadership
  • Report on product catalogue completeness, data quality, and content performance
