Job Title: Ecom DevOps Engineer

Location: West Yorkshire

Working Pattern: 2 days per week in office

Salary: £52,500 + £6k allowance plus other benefits
Sector: Ecom Retail

Forsyth Barnes is partnering with a leading e-commerce organisation to recruit an E-Commerce DevOps Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage and optimise software deployment for high-traffic B2C websites and shopping apps, ensuring top-tier performance and reliability.

Key Tech Stack:

  • CI/CD & Automation: Jenkins, GitLab, Selenium, PowerShell, Bash
  • Monitoring & Observability: New Relic, Elastic Stack (ELK), PRTG, ScienceLogic
  • Performance Optimisation: Lighthouse, caching (Squid Cache, F5 Load Balancer)
  • Security & Compliance: OWASP, UK-GDPR, PCI-DSS
  • Infrastructure & Networking: Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), disaster recovery planning

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
  • Monitor and optimise website performance, ensuring uptime and scalability.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance policies.
  • Enhance system observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to drive DevOps best practices.
