Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a part-time Ecologist Consultant for a 6-month interim role. This exciting opportunity involves supporting a busy Planning team by reviewing ecological elements of planning applications and providing specialist advice on protected species and biodiversity. Ecologist (Planning) - Part Time
South West
6-months
Rate Dependant Upon Experience (£50 to £55 per hour)

I am working closely with my LPA client based in the South West as they seek an interim Ecologist Consultant on an initial 6-month contract.

This role will be to support the busy Planning team and involves reviewing the ecological elements of planning applications to provide specialist ecological advice for planning officers on protected species, HRA and also BNG.

The work will range from small proposals to larger major allocations.

They are looking for a consultant on a 15 to 20 hour assignment.

The role involves mainly remote working with some requirement for site visits on occasion. The LPA are flexible on how often you are needed in the area and can ensure the role suits those who live further away with the right experience.
